Baseline External Evaluation of Justice and Care Bangladesh Champion Survivor Aftercare Programme
Trafficking of women and children in Bangladesh especially around the border region, has
been a serious concern for several decades. Rescue and repatriation of these women and
children is difficult; however, reintegration also is a huge challenge due to societal norms
and perspectives as well as individual’s traumatic experiences and associated psychosocial
vulnerabilities. Non-government organizations including Justice and Care (JnC) have been
working towards improving lives of these women and children though intensive aftercare
service delivery. This report presents the findings of a baseline evaluation of the peer-led
aftercare programme run by Justice and Care for survivors of human trafficking.
